Duty

Anaïs trudged through the wet grass in the middle of the night, feeling a bit nervous. Certainly, she had done witchcraft before, but nothing like this. She had to summon a demon for Marisa to kill. A rather large demon. What if she screwed up? What if she and Marisa got eaten? It was all too fishy for Anaïs. She glanced over to her best pal and gave her a weak smile. Maybe Marisa had faith in her, but she certainly didn't have faith in herself. Anaïs softly closed her blue eyes to think for a moment. Floating a pencil and summoning a demon were two different things. But in order for the chaos this demon was causing to stop, they had to do something about it. Sneaking into people's houses and stealing their kids was definately not cool.
She reached the spot where she was supposed to do her spell. She turned to Marisa again, taking a deep breath and eyeing her weapon. "You sure about this?" she questioned her, moving herself to sit down, about to unpack her bag.

Marisa held her axe in her hand as she followed Anaïs through the graveyard. She wasn't even sure if this was going to work and she could tell her friend wasn't sure either.
They came to the spot where the spell was going to be performed and Marisa took a deep breath. It was almost time. She heard her friends question and pretended she wasn't worried. "Yes, I'm sure. Muy seguro." She said the last part in Spanish. She occassionally spoke it. It kind of slipped out, after all, her mother was from Mexico.
She grasped the handle on her axe tighter. "I just wanna get this over with." She stated. "This demon has to be stopped. Do you have everything you need?"
