Zelda nodded. “Well if you ever come out during the day, if that is, you should check out the mall. I go there ever so often. I was thinking about going this weekend. There isn’t a whole lot else to do here in good old Sunnydale.” Zelda shook her head. Her legs were beginning to ache. She sat down on the counter next to the door. She rolled her eyes. “Yeah it’s interesting. We occasionally get attacks in school, there are always attacks around here, and during the day it’s not to bad, you know occasionally someone gets tuned up dead but not to often. It’s of course later that’s the problem.” She began to kick her legs to wake them up as she thought. “My sister didn’t want me to join soccer cause she was afraid I might be attacked after school. I didn’t know that then but now I know.” She laughed. “So how long have you been a slayer?”

How's that for ironic? A slayer living in a crypt." Carrie laughed and looked out one of the windows as Zelda talked about school and her sister not wanting her to join soccer. She turned back to her when she asked 'So how long have you been a slayer?' "Well, not really that long. Only a couple years. I did a lot during my time though. Killed lots of demons and vamps. I even helped destroy the hellmouth in Cleveland. Pretty interesting stuff."

Zelda raised an eyebrow. “You live in a crypt? Ok so I’m guessing you don’t have a job so how do you buy supplies?” She asked curiously. "Well, not really that long. Only a couple years. So are you going to help destroy Sunnydale’s hellmouth with the other slayers? Trust me if you have to destroy the whole school to do it, I’m sure I’ll survive. There might be a tear but I’m sure we’ll get over it.” She replied sarcastically.

And some other stuff I mostly get from vampires. If I see a vampire that has something cool. I might just take it before I dust them. Or after, depending on what it is." She said with a laugh.

She looked around the room for a second and back to Zelda. "I don't know. Maybe I'll have to find a way around destroying the school. I mean if there isn't a hellmouth anymore, what will be in Sunnydale to torment the youth?" She said sarcastically with a laugh.

"You have no idea." She simply said. 'Hey come on. I’m sure they’ll rush to build another, cant you please?' Carrie looked up at the ceiling as though she was thinking hard about it. "Well, hmm... I'll think about it and get back to you." She watched Zelda make a puppy dog face, and that made her laugh again. Then they began talking about the slayers in Sunnydale. We could all get together and talk about our experiences, take pictures, and sign autographs. It would be like we were from a tv show or something." "Yes maybe they would make this into a TV show. Yes then they could have slayer trading cards. And stuff. But that might not be so good. The vamps would know who you are and it might be hard to get to them. You might be runing away form screaming fans." She laughed at the mental images in her mind. "But it's still be cool."

Carrie thought for a minute about all of the stuff they were talking about. "I don't know about the trading cards though. They usually put weaknesses and strengths and that wouldn't be too good if they got in the wrong hands." She said with a laugh. "I wouldn't mind being famous though." She stood up and started walking around the room looking at some of the posters on the wall. "What class is this supposed to be?" She asked. She didn't know because there were posters of singers and actors, occasionally a couple educational ones. "This teachers seems to like the famous people."

"What class is this supposed to be?" Zelda looked around. She hadn’t really paid much attention to the classroom they entered. “Umm this is the English room. But the teacher, Mrs. Anderson, she also teaches drama. So she tries to encourage kids to enter drama by surrounding her class with posters of singers and actors and such. Interesting lady.” Zelda dangled her feet over the endge of the counter. They were falling asleep.

'Umm this is the English room. But the teacher, Mrs. Anderson, she also teaches drama. Wish I had a teacher like that when I was in highschool." She walked around the room some more and picked up a weird ring that was laying on the floor. It was in the spot where she had staked the vampire. "What's this?" She asked herself, as she looked at the ring. She walked over to a window and looked at it in the moon light. "It's kinda cool. I think I'll keep it." She took it and put it on her finger. "It's a little loose, but it'll do." She walked back over to the desk she was sitting on and sat back down. "Carrie gets another item for her jewelry box." She said with a laugh.

“Yeah she’s cool teacher. Even though sometimes I think she’s a little psychotic but she makes up for it.” She watched as Carrie picked something up. "What's this? It's kinda cool. I think I'll keep it. It's a little loose, but it'll do." Zelda looked at the ring as Carrie sat back down. “Oh that’s nice. I guess there are some perks to being a slayer, huh?”
“So what’s it like being a slayer? Is it ever lonely cause I’m guessing that not many guys dig a girl beat them up.”

"Being a slayer? Hmm..." Carrie thought about the question for a moment. "I guess it can be lonley sometimes. I mean, you can't exactly take a guy to the cemetery on a date. Especially in my case, since, you know, that's where I live." She laughed and continued. "The bad thing is, demons and vamps always want to kill you. But the good thing is that you can kick their butts."

Zelda nodded. "So I guess it has it's ups and downs like most jobs. But more downs than ups right?" She grabbed a notebook form her bag and searched for a pen. Then she scribbled her name and number on the paper. “Well I should be heading home. I still have to do homework and finish a project.” Frowning she ripped the paper from the notebook and folded it up. “Here.” She handed Carrie the paper. “If you ever want to hang out, even though I now if unlikely since I am just an immature teenager but if you do call this number. The first is my home number and the second is my cell.” She stuffed the notebook back in her bag. As she headed to the door she turned around quickly. “And remember what I said about destroying the school along with the hellmouth ok? Just as an option.” Then she turned back into the halls and headed for home.

"Yep. Ups and downs. But everything has that, so it's normal that way. Though the ups and downs are a little different." Carrie watched Zelda reach into her bag and get paper and a pen. She wrote something on the paper and handed to her as she said that she should be heading home. It was her phone number, home and cell. "Thanks. Maybe I'll give ya a call. And I'll keep that in mind. About the school that is." She waved and smiled as Zelda walked out of the room. She stood up and walked around the room for a couple minutes. Zelda was long gone by now, so there shouldn't be anyone in the building. She stepped out into the hallway and looked around to see what way she wanted to go. She turned right and headed down the hall. "Any more vamps." She said quietly to herself as she walked.
